Chris Crawford: Why I Ride
“I ride in the Bike MS Ride first because my sister Bonnie has MS and I want to do everything I can to help her. The second reason I ride is because once you experience participating in this event, you realize that what we are doing by riding, by raising money, by volunteering and by donating money is giving people with MS hope that the future will be brighter for them, or for others who have or may get diagnosed with MS. The power of hope is an awesome thing to see. And, the look of hope and appreciation in people's eyes when you are at this event will make you never want to stop trying. We all should do everything we can to prevent more people from learning what it means to live with this disease. Today, there is no cure for multiple sclerosis, and with diagnosis occurring most frequently between the ages of 20 and 50, many individuals face a lifetime filled with unpredictability”
